Hershey Park is back on for the rest of the season. The cleanup crew has been working very hard to clean up from the flooding of hurricane Lee. The park was closed the weekend of the 10th and 11th to clean up the park. The hersheypark crew worked many long days and night to get things up and working again. Many of the popular games from down at comet hollows is gone like Wack-a-mole, skeeball, ring toss and gun ball to name a few. The park got four games up and running for this past weekend of the 17th and 18th they were winding wires, sureshot, pigskin panic and foulball. Superdoperlooper, Comet and Wave Swings were all up and running and many people were happy about that. The only ride that wasn’t there was the tilt-a-whirl because they had taken it out for repairs and also so they can continue to work on building the new ride Sky Rush. The only food place’s down in comet that were open was the comet slush and dip-n-dot’s, the sandwich stop and the Hatfield grilling station were closed because they got hit bad with the flooding and lost a lot, along with the amphitheater. The park was full and busy as usual even though despite the cold weather. Despite being closed for a weekend Hershey Park was back on its feet and running just like always.
